Both the US and the UK have major elections this year, with much at stake for the future of both democracy and decarbonization.
In the US— traditionally consumer confidence and presidential popularity have aligned. Not so today for Biden. Why? What changes to climate might a GOP win bring? In contrast, in the UK, a Labour win looks almost certain, and the party’s platform features climate extensively, including the addition of a Wealth Fund.
